Wonderful World cover art #5SLL #5sensesLL #normalisoverrated #homeschool #homeschoolkindergarten #neurodiversehomeschooling #adhdhomeschoolingYou may have noticed it already. We’ve changed the name of our flagship program, “Level: Orange – Full Year curriculum”, to Wonderful World – Level: Orange

Why the change?

We chose Wonderful World – Level: Orange because several of our Facebook Group members suggested names with “World” in it. The curriculum teaches kids about the world around them and all of the wonderful things there are to see and do. And I like alliteration.

This change is also necessary because I am hard at work on the follow-up level of Orange.

More Orange Level Programs? I can’t wait!

One of our users asked if I could create a set of lessons teaching letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. All with my unique perspective on childhood development and techniques that work for a wide range of learning styles.

I am writing a program that will teach these foundational skills from the viewpoint of an Occupational Therapist. I’m making the lessons multisensory. I’m building skills in a logical way that no one else does. And I will be using lots of great children’s picture books to help make the lessons more interesting. The program will include lessons on health, science, social studies, and life skills too!

How does this new Orange Program fit into things?

This new program can be done before or after the current Orange program, Wonderful World. It will really depend on your child’s readiness for this kind of subject matter. For those of you who are using the current Orange Level and have a child who needs more at that pace, this should be a great addition to your homeschool.

Do you have an idea of something you’d like us to tackle next?

I honestly hadn’t thought to develop another program at the Orange Level. But now that I’m working on it I’m really glad I’m doing it. If you have a suggestion for something you would like me to cover in a blog post or something you’d like to see included in a future program leave a comment below or send us a message. I would love to hear from you. I am excited to offer more programs that help families have a happy and productive homeschool experience.

Make sure to subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date on our latest developments. We’ll let you know when this new Orange program is ready and keep you in the loop on other upcoming projects.

Take care,

Are you a member of our Facebook Families Group?

I created a group on Facebook as a place for families who are using Five Senses Literature Lessons. It’s a wonderful space for us to collaborate and share ideas. I am on the group every day sharing tips and ideas or giving advice and answering questions about the program. We have some wonderful Families members who have created special content for our program. I’d love for you to join us.
