Here at Five Senses Literature Lessons, we love to hear about how you and your child are using our programs. And we especially love seeing what field trips you are taking and how you are exploring the ideas from the books and stories in real life!

Up Up and Away!

Thank you to Kristine for sharing these pictures of her family at the Kalamazoo Air Zoo! That looks like a fabulous field trip! This wonderful field trip went along with their lesson on airplanes and transportation in our Wonderful World curriculum!

Taking it further.

Kristine has been adapting the curriculum to use her daughter’s AAC device along with the lessons. She has been sharing about that on her blog, AAC Modeling Ideas. You can also visit her YouTube channel, AAC Family Fun, for videos demonstrating modeling reading books with an AAC device, like this one of Curious George Discovers Space

Want to connect with other families using our programs?

We have a group on Facebook for Five Senses Literature Lessons Families. Join us to share ideas and info with other 5SLL users. We share tips and activities that go along with the different programs and answer questions about how to adapt lessons for specific situations. I’d love for you to join us!
