In our Wonderful World curriculum, we chose the best children’s books we could find and build lessons around them that kids will enjoy. It turns out that NASA agrees with us about a few of our books being the best. You can actually watch astronauts read them from space!
Story Time from Space is a program where astronauts read great children’s books from the International Space Station
Here is a video of Kate Rubins, an astronaut and medical doctor, reading Rosie Revere, Engineer! This book is featured in our lesson on flight.
And here is Scott Kelly reading Mousetronaut! This book is featured in our lesson on space. How perfect is that?!
If you explore the website, StoryTimeFromSpace.com, you can find several more books to enjoy with your child. along with some science videos.
