When we say that our Wonderful World Curriculum will introduce your child to all kinds of new ideas and concepts that kids love and help you take it to the next level: this is what we are talking about!
Working on so many skills at once!
This sweet little guy is making train tracks across a map of the US while doing the lesson on trains., a topic he loves! This is exposing him to how maps work, the shape of the United States (though you could use any map), and working his fine motor skills, too!
Because he is interested in the topic, the lesson is fun and engaging for him even if he isn’t ready for more mature map work right now. He is getting to work with the map in a way that is age-appropriate now. Later, when he is a little older, more mature map work will be easier, because he saw one today.
Trains are his favorite right now, so his mom chose to start her school year with the trains lesson, to kick off the year in a way he would enjoy.
Mix and Match to build the Perfect Lessons for Your Child
You can see, they also have a copy of Foundations & Fundamentals with them to work on drawing rectangles. Mom has chosen to work on this skill some here and there, to help improve his fine motor skills before going through the curriculum and working on all the letters.
Great job, Mom!
