When one of our awesome users, Laura Bishop, said that she had taken her family to Lost Sea Adventures as a field trip to go with one of our programs, we first assumed her family was studying Wonderful World.

However, it turns out that the Lost Sea Adventure park in Criaghead Caverns of Sweetwater, TN, features many Cherokee artifacts! This field trip actually was chosen to go along with our Yellow Level: US History of Native American and Indigenous People curriculum. The kids got to explore the cavern and learn local history in a whole new way!

Thanks so much for sharing!

Hands-on learning and field trips bring learning alive! Find out what field trips are available to your family and send us some pictures! We’d love to feature you in a future Magic Monday.

Do you have some fun pictures to share?

I love seeing kids having fun while learning with our Five Senses programs. If you have been on a fun field trip or have pictures of your children doing one of the activities from a Five Senses program and want to share them, there are a few ways to do that. Of course, you can always post them in our closed Facebook group. Or you can post it on your Instagram and tag us (#5SLL or @fivesenseslearning). Or, if you want to be a Magic Monday post, you can email your pictures to fivesenseslearning@gmail.com. I can’t wait to see what everyone is learning and doing this year.
