Sir Cumference and the Viking’s Map

Design Your Own Coat of Arms

The Usborne Book of Castles

Supplies
The unit study calls for a few specific supplies.
Goblet
You can get any wine glass or goblet from the dollar store or a discount store. I like this shape better than a typical wine glass because there is a larger, flatter area to color. But any glass will do for this activity.
Oil-Based Paint Markers for Glass
These markers, by Ecovue, work well. But any oil-based paint maker will work for this activity. Read the label carefully. Some glass markers are a type of dry-erase maker intended to easily clean off glass. You don’t want those. You want permanent makers, but not Sharpies, which will wipe off glass.
Fox & Geese Game
The links in the unit study have instructions for how to print or make your own game board. But if you enjoy the game, you can get this wooden version for years of Medieval fun!
